Okra stew, it’s such a lovely vegan side dish. I don’t make often enough (very difficult to find in Paris), so I was triple happy when my husband brought a big paper bag full of organic okra last week. Every time okra at home I cook it this way. Very simple recipe, easy to make. Will take you a maximum 20 minutes to prepare and about 40 minutes to cook. Very nice with different kinds of rice or cooked potatoes. Hope you’ll like it as much as we do.
Roasted veggies with chestnuts and rosemary is a great side dish of this season. Just can’t get enough of all the amazing seasonal products right now.

Roasted eggplant is one of my favorite side dishes. I prepared it so many times lately, just can’t get enough of it. Sprinkle of roasted feta cheese makes it deliciously creamy and grilled pine nuts give amazing rich and buttery flavor. I love serving it with wild rice, quinoa or just with a nice salad.
I have discovered wild rice, maybe a year ago. It fast became one of my favorite side dishes. You can prepare it in so many different ways. Yesterday I cooked wild rice with a baby asparagus, garlic, pine nuts and dry plums. I really loved this original salty-bitter-sweet taste. Goes really well with roasted vegetables and tahini sauce.
